Hotel room was a bit old and tired but was clean. The restaurant only have huge tables for groups and that was not convenient for two persons. We came around Chinese new year so most other restaurants nearby was closed. The breakfast was good but did not give takeaway cups to take a coffee to go witch is normal at hotels in that price range.

I have always wanted to go to Maotai Town to see the Maotai Distillery by the Chishui River and experience China's wine culture. I specially booked the Maotai Hotel. The rooms are spacious and bright, and the environment is beautiful, surrounded by mountains and rivers. The town is filled with the lingering aroma of sauce. I also visited the largest Chinese wine culture city in the country, and deeply felt the wine culture history of Renhuai Maotai Town, which broadened my horizons and increased my knowledge👍👍

The hotel is not too new but the facilities are well maintained. The main reason for staying here is the good location and the fact that you can eat without driving and drink real Moutai. The meal is over 200 yuan, and 4 liang of Moutai is 699, but the room fee also comes with two Moutai ice creams, which is quite fun.
